Silverleaf

Spitalfields, London

Experience moody glamour and elemental serves in the capital

Located on the third floor of Devonshire House, Silverleaf is one of the first independent cocktail bars to be part of a luxury hotel offering.

Moody glamour and the darkly luxurious interior make the site perfect for celebrations, dates or special occasions. It’s also open 5pm until 2am every night of the week.

Based at Pan Pacific London on Liverpool Street, the bar opened in February 2022.

The design of the bar by Tom Dixon is inspired by naturalism and its elements, with the cocktail menu rooted around flavour and minimalist colour profiles.

There’s a wealth of talent in the team, with Milroy’s founder Martyn ‘Simo’ Simpson at the helm, as well as his old colleague Chris Tanner and Callooh Callay’s Liam Broom also working as mixologists.

On the menu, cocktails are described by a symbolic language that reflects the characteristics of the drink. For instance, one served is described as wood, herbaceous, dry, and so interprets the cocktail in a coded form.

The non-traditional menu combines recognisable ingredients with less well-known flavours, such as an apple and woodruff combination, or rhubarb and tonka fusion.

All cocktails are £16, and Asian flavours are present on the list in drinks like the Lychee and Jasmine.

The bar also has a semi-private area for up the eight guests. What’s more, Alba, a private room designed and dedicated for intimate drink experiences, can accommodate 11 people.

The bar is accessible and easy to get to with Liverpool Street station and underground station just minutes away.
