The bar with no name in London’s Islington is a hidden oasis tucked away from the main road offering a cozy setting for enjoying cocktails, live jazz, blues and rock and roll music.

This legendary bar from Tony Conigliaro, who is described as a “cocktail genius” opened in 2019 and continues to wow customers over ten years after opening.

The list from master mixologist Conigliaro doesn’t disappoint with innovative cutting-edge cocktails and twists on the classics making it a destination for classic cocktail fans as well as locals.

There is Death in Venice on the menu, made with Campari and Grapefruit Bitters; the Butter & Hay Kir, made with Butter & Hay Vodka and Perrier Jouet Grand Bru; while the Soy Cubano made with Havana Club De Seleccion de Maestros, Soya Sauce Pedro Ximenez, Ambrette & Rombois Bitter is a sure winner. Bartenders will make classic cocktails on request.

There is food, too, with little snacky options such as olives and mini Saucisson. And don’t forget the Antipasti, cheese plate, Burrata or Anchovies on Bread.

There is also live music on Thursdays with a variety of different performers and the house pianist plays Wednesday and Sunday evenings.

Customers can buy takeaway bottles on request including Rose Vodka, Negroni Classico and Vintage Manhattan Bottle.

It also runs Masterclasses, devised by the team held at 69 Colebrooke Row. People can learn the history, stories and how to make classics like the Old Fashioned, Daiquiri, Tuxedo, Aviation and the Classic Champagne Cocktail. The latest include the Whisk(e)y masterclass and the Coffee in Cocktails masterclass.
