This cocktail bar mixes the sophistication of a French brasserie with the personality of the locals who frequent it.
Coupette in London excels in three areas – calvados, cidre and cocktails, which are influenced by France, yet proudly local too.
The bar’s website says: “Inspired by France but proudly local, Coupette brings the very best drinks and food in an upbeat and relaxed environment.”
Coupette’s cocktail list is beautiful and sophisticated, offering a reasonable selection of drinks, which range in price from £8 to £50.
The Alpine Gimlet (£9) is made using Bombay Sapphire, Camphor & Genepi Cordial; Just For Clarity (£10) is made using Grey Goose vodka, beurre noisette, fino and toasted hazelnut bitters; while L’Ultime (£16) consists of Mouton Rothschild ‘Super Cassis’, blackberry leaf tincture and Blanc de Noirs Champagne.
Try the bar snacks too, which are delicious and follow the bar’s theme.
