Top 50 Cocktail Bars is partnering with Bar-Fabric, a next-level advocacy platform from the team at Brown-Forman, to launch the Rising Star Award, a new way to celebrate an individual in our industry who exemplifies our shared values.
Bar-Fabric is designed for hospitality leaders of today and tomorrow. At Bar-Fabric we believe that individual development can support the growth of the industry as a whole and that a thriving hospitality community is key to personal progression.
The Top 50 lists were created to highlight excellence across the hospitality sector with a number of self-entry categories announced alongside the list. We want to also highlight individuals in our incredible industry who make it so special.
This award aims to recognise emerging talent in the industry by supporting and educating.
You can either self-enter or nominate for this award, entries close Friday 17th November 2023.

How will this be judged?
Round one - self entry or nomination paper judging. Submit your entries Friday 17 November at 23:59PM GMT to be considered. Each application will be ‘paper judged’ by our judges to narrow down to just 10 finalists.
Round two - will take place via video call with a selection of our judges from Monday 4 December - Friday 15 December 2023. These will then be narrowed down to a final 5 who will be invited to attend round three.
Round three- a two-day masterclass in London hosted by Bar-Fabric to meet the judges and learn from the experts in their fields, as well as showing off your own skills with a series of tasks. This will take place Monday 15 - Tuesday 16 January 2024.
Final announcement - this will take place at the live Top 50 Cocktail Bars reveal in London on Tuesday 6 February 2024. All 5 finalists will be offered a place at the event with the overall winner being announced alongside the 1-50 list.
