Side Hustle is a Latin American casual bar and restaurant that offers casual dining and drinks in a lively setting.

Located in the trendy NoMad hotel in London it is one of four venues situated within the building which was opened in the former Bow Street Police Station. While the other three include the NoMad Restaurant, The Library and Common Decency, the subterranean bar, Side Hustle has something different to offer.

California’s Mexican influences play a part, particularly when it comes to the food and drink offering.

The drinks menu is influenced by the flavours of Latin America with an extensive collection of Agave-based spirits available.  The cocktail program, under the direction of bar director Liana Oster, showcases the flavours and traditions of Latin America along with classic and contemporary British, European and American offerings.

Innovations include the Seasonal Margarita with corn, carrot, lemon and agave or hibiscus, cranberry or Spice Blend 18. Plus the menu boasts the Plum As You Are, with Suntory Toki Whisky, Plum, Fino Sherry, Pineau des Chartentes, Paw Paw and Cinnamon 17.

There is also the theatre of the Tequila Mai Tai that is presented in a metallic skull mug decorated with pineapple leaves and rising with smoke.

The bar interior features a beautiful marble-topped bar and comfortable booths. The food menu showcases a passion for Southern California’s fresh cuisine and draws the most on Mexico for inspiration, with classics including tacos and tostadas.

NoMad London opened on the site of the former The Bow Street Magistrates Court and Police Station in 2021. The hotel has some history. It has reportedly housed many defendants in its time from Oscar Wilde, the Kray twins, suffragette Emmeline Pankhurst, to Dame Vivienne Westwood.
